VETPAW

The ShineMaker Foundation has provided funding support for VETPAW’s capacity development and relationship building in South Africa, working together to prevent the extinction of keystone species and ecosystems. Iconic and irreplaceable wildlife is on the brink of extinction due to illegal poaching, and the crisis has far-reaching and catastrophic consequences. VETPAW utilizes the unrivaled expertise of U.S. Military veterans to train and support African rangers and to provide sustainable solutions. VETPAW collaborates closely with rangers, national parks, and government agencies. This includes working side-by-side with anti-poaching patrols, implementing infantry tactics, unit cohesion, medical skills, and other game-changing tools in the modern poaching war.
